Yakiniku Like!! is a contemporary Japanese BBQ concept designed around speed, quality, and a strong customer experience. Located in Westfield Stratford City, one of London’s busiest retail destinations, this project required a fit-out that could immediately capture attention while supporting the practical demands of a fast-paced dining environment.
The brief was to create a space that felt bold, modern, and instantly recognisable, while staying true to the clean and refined character often associated with Japanese design. The restaurant needed to stand out within a high-footfall shopping centre, encourage walk-ins, and deliver a layout that supported smooth customer flow from arrival to dining.
The finished space combines striking visual impact with functional precision. From the illuminated entrance and strong architectural framing to the carefully selected finishes and material palette, every detail was considered to strengthen the brand presence and create a memorable first impression. The design balances a contemporary commercial feel with subtle references to Japanese simplicity, order, and craftsmanship.
Particular attention was given to the overall customer journey. The layout was planned to support efficiency, comfort, and clarity, helping the restaurant operate effectively during busy service periods without compromising on atmosphere.
